sonett - patching exhaust crossover pipe, painting engine bay parts
One thing always bothered me with the engine bay from the first time I saw it, the coolant reservoir, which is also a strut brace, looked terrible. I think that thing is actually galvanized so it was in fine condition, but it really let down the looks of the engine bay. While I had both from wheels off the ground, I decided to remove it, take a wire brush to it, and finally paint it with more battle ship gray rustoleum.
It looks worlds better. The inside of it is still pretty dirty but at least it looks better.
I also decided to paint the rusty area by the clutch and brake fluid reservoirs. That area too looks 100 times better than it did before.
